Spanish Level Zero · Live group class

Every Spanish Hero Starts at Zero.

Live online group classes for absolute beginners. A structured path from zero to real conversation, starting together with people at exactly your level.

Next groups: January 2027 groups · exact start date coming soon.

Who it’s for

Built for true beginners.

“Beginner” can mean almost anything. In most classes, one person took three years of high-school Spanish and another knows a few travel phrases. Level Zero is a group designed for people beginning from zero, or very close to it.

    You’re starting from scratch

No Spanish yet, or just a handful of words. You won’t walk into a room where everyone else is already ahead.

  • You want a clear path

Structure first, real conversation next. You always know what you’re learning and why.

  • You’d rather learn with others

Hear other learners, learn from their questions, and keep each other going. Shared momentum makes it easier to show up.

How it works

Learn it. Practice it. Use it.

  1. Start together

The group begins at zero and moves through the same foundational material as a cohort.

  2. Understand the structure

Clear explanations of how Spanish works, without drowning you in grammar terminology.

  3. Practice it out loud

Repetition with a purpose: you change the subject, the action, make it negative, ask a question, until the pattern feels familiar.

  4. Use it in conversation

Speak from early on, with feedback and correction, so good habits stick instead of shortcuts.

“Controlled practice is your heavy bag. Real conversation is your sparring.”Adán J. Ayala, How to Learn Spanish With Streaming

What you’ll learn

A foundation you can actually use.

Not a collection of memorized phrases: patterns that generate hundreds of sentences.

  • Pronunciation and the sounds of Spanish, and how written and spoken Spanish connect.
  • How a sentence is built: subjects, verbs, objects, questions and negatives.
  • Everyday structures such as ser / estar, tener que, ir a, querer and poder + infinitive, and gustar.
  • The present tense to talk about your life, routines, likes and needs.

I have worked with Adan as a teacher for six years now. He is excellent: patient and funny but also careful and exacting. My confidence speaking Spanish has grown exponentially over the years. Highly recommended.

Your teacher

Hi, I’m Adán

“Teaching isn’t what I do. It’s who I am.”

I grew up in Mexico in a family of teachers. I learned English the hard way as an adult, at work, with no time to waste, so I know what it feels like to freeze when someone actually talks to you.

That’s what you get: structure first, real conversation next, using today’s tools from streaming to AI. No guesswork.
